Is Westerfield College a University?

No it is not. Westerfield College is a Sixth-Form College that offers The International Foundation Program (IFP) and A Levels are pathways to a degree programme in the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. We are a community set up as both a place for the building of very high academic achievement and a loving environment that allows the full development of innate abilities, skills, and creative talents. We pride ourselves as a community that enables, propels, and supports.

Where are your campuses?

We have two campuses in Nigeria, in Victoria Island, Lagos and in Abuja. Both are purpose-built learning environments with modern facilities, residential support, and pastoral care teams on site.

What are the basic requirements to enroll for any of your programmes?

The basic requirements are; O’Level Result (i.e IGCSE, WAEC) Secondary School Transcript 2 Reference Letters Data Page of Student’s International Passport 4 Passport Photographs Personal Statement

What is the duration of your programmes?

Here are the durations; Cambridge A Level: 2 years Accelerated A Level: 1 year International Foundation Programme (IFP): 1 year Nigeria Degree Pathway: 1 year

Will I be the one to apply to universities myself?

No. Westerfield College Progression team will do the work of applying to universities on behalf of each student.

Do you suggest Universities to students/parents?

Yes, we do. We are in partnership with some of the best universities around the world. We suggest the best-fit university based on the course a student wants to study and other factors.

What is your Progression rate?

We have a track record of 99% progression.

Can my child resume year 2 in any of your partner universities?

Yes, they can. For UK-bound students, our Internal Foundation Programme/2 years Cambridge A level is a pathway to year 2

Westerfield College began its operations in 2011 in a serene locality at Yaba, Lagos and as a result of our meritorious contributions to the academic sector in Nigeria, we have extended our branches to Victoria Island, Lagos; Abuja and Kano.

Whilst at Westerfield, I undertook core engineering courses such as Maths for Engineering, System Analysis and Design, and Information Technology and Communication. These courses, and the practical engineering experience I acquired, enabled me to develop a strong technical foundation, upon which I could build my future education.
